Only four teams have had a better day on offense against Clemson’s defense since 2015. Two of those were in national champion games (against Alabama in 2015 and LSU in 2019).

That’s the kind of game it was for the Notre Dame offense. I don’t know if anyone would have predicted that they would throw for 300 yards and rush for 200 against a Brent Venables defense.
