Notre Dame Baseball Makes History with First Top 25 Recruiting Class
Link Jarrett and his staff quickly made headlines by moving into the top 25 in some polls in his first spring at Notre Dame, but the season was cut short before as the Irish were hitting full stride.
On Wednesday, Notre Dame continued its momentum for the future as the Irish signed its first top 25 recruiting class in PerfectGame.org history.
The 2021 recruiting class is headlined by RHP/SS/OF Roman Kimball, who is top 50 player in the country and comes to South Bend from New Hartford (N.Y.). The 5-foot-11, 160-pounder will bring his 94 mph fastball to Jarrett’s rotation and a deadly curveball.

A. Crawford Mosley (Fla.) LHP/OF Jaden Rudd is another huge pickup for the Irish. The 6-foot, 185-pounder is known as one top two-way players in the country.
In addition to Kimball and Rudd, Notre Dame will bring in Roxbury (N.J.) LHP Jack Findlay and Valor Christian (Colo.) RHP c to help with the rotation.
Notre Dame fans should also keep a close eye on St. Charles North (Ill.) Nick DeMarco, who is one of the best two-way players in the Midwest.
It's worth noting Findlay, Birkholz and DeMarco have all topped out 90 mph.
Phillips Academy (Mass.) SS Jack Penny will have a chance to make noise early in the infield.
St. John's College (Md.) OF David Jefferson brings speed and a lefty at the plate for the Irish.
West Bend (Wis.) catcher Joey Spence was also a significant addition to Jarrett's club as he could be the top hitter in the Midwest. The lefty has some serious bat speed and has a chance to develop into a big-time player in the ACC.
