It wasn't pretty on Saturday for Notre Dame. For the first time all season, the Irish lacked focus and didn't have the mental edge or swagger it played with for 10 previous games - well, at least for three quarters. 

I'm not quite sure what happened between the first and second quarter, but Notre Dame fell off the map. 

The Irish lost swagger, confidence and everything else. Notre Dame was extremely confident over the first quarter and five minutes of the second quarter.
