Notre Dame CB Isaiah Rutherford in Transfer Portal

Notre Dame sophomore cornerback Isaiah Rutherford has entered the Transfer Portal, per a source. 

The 6-foot, 193-pounder saw action in three games in 2020 after redshirting in 2019. 

As a recruit, the four-star prospect was dynamic on offense and defense and was selected to the 2019 Polynesian Bowl. 

The California native chose the Irish over Cal, LSU, Oklahoma and Oregon after initally leaving Notre Dame off his top six. 

Rutherford joins receiver Jafar Armstrong, running back Jahmir Smith and offensive lineman Colin Grunhard in entering the Transfer Portal since the Rose Bowl.
