Source | Notre Dame DE Ovie Oghoufo Entering Transfer Portal
Notre Dame defensive end Ovie Oghoufo will enter the Transfer Portal, according to a source.
Pete Thamel was the first to report the news.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound junior played in 11 games for the Irish in 2020 and recorded 13 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and recovered one fumble.
Oghoufo played in nine games in 2019 after redshirting in 2018 and was named Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year. As a sophomore, the Michigan native recorded 12 tackles, one sack, one break up and three hurries.
The former four-star prospect committed to Notre Dame over Boston College, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford, Syracuse and many others.
As always, a player can remove his name from the Transfer Portal after entering it.
