Jarod Neal points to the combination of Ty Simpson’s arm strength, athleticism and football IQ as to what makes the 2022 Tennessee quarterback so special.

With a father who is the head coach at Tennessee-Martin, Simpson has grown up around the game, which has absolutely helped with the football IQ part of that equation, but his high school coach calls the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder “a sponge.”
