It’s safe to say Notre Dame grabbed Zach Evans’ recruitment when the Irish extended a scholarship offer to the 2022 Texas running back on Wednesday.

The 5-foot-9, 198-pounder had been seriously considering Texas and Utah and now that the Irish have offered, it’s safe to say the round a Top 3 of sorts for the Rockwall-Heath running back.

ISD has Evans ranked as a 4-star and Notre Dame likes his ability as a complete back, who can also catch the ball out of the backfield.
