Notre Dame Baseball Releases 2021 Schedule

Notre Dame baseball has finally locked in its 2021 schedule and the Irish will play 46 games, including 23 home games and 12 ACC series.

The Irish will get tested right out of the gate as Notre Dame will open the season in Baton Rouge for a four-team tournament hosted by No. 7 LSU Feb.19-21. Notre Dame will open on Friday with Louisiana Tech before playing powerhouse LSU on Saturday and Air Force on Sunday. 

Notre Dame will then play three-game series at Wake Forest, Clemson and Virginia before the first home series against Duke on March 19th. 

Link Jarrett's squad will host six ACC home series against Duke, Louisville, NC State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Florida State. 

“The transition to add two more ACC series is very interesting,” Jarrett said. “When you look at it, I think six of the teams we will play in weekend series have been in the College World Series in the past decade. You understand the magnitude of essentially, you're playing a Super Regional-caliber series the bulk of our entire season. Which is unique.
“Going to be very exciting, challenging.”

In addition to the ACC schedule, the Irish will host Butler, Central Michigan, Valpo and Western Michigan. Notre Dame will also travel to Central Michigan and Valpo. 

The ACC Championship is set for May 25-30, but a location has yet to be determined. 

Notre Dame has not announced an attendance policy for the season and will be released on UND.com at a later date.
