Notre Dame led for just 1:26 of game action on Tuesday night, but the Irish defeated Wake Forest in the opening round of the ACC Tournament.
Trey Wertz scored 16 points and nailed a buzzer-beater from deep to give Notre Dame the 80-77 win.
