2022 Apopka (Fla.) cornerback Nikai Martinez‍ has held Notre Dame in high regard for quite some time as he stepped foot on campus back in 2019 for an unofficial visit. Notre Dame returned the favor almost a year later as the Irish offered on Sept. 1st of 2020. 

The four-star prospect will now take the next step with Notre Dame as Martinez told me earlier today he’ll be back for an official visit the weekend of June 11th.
