Notre Dame Offers 2022 MA WR
On Tuesday, the Irish extended an offer to 2022 Massachusetts wide receiver Joe Griffin.
Griffin has been committed to BC for months, but his offensive coordinator spoke to ISD and said they understand an offer from Notre Dame is one that needs to be taken seriously.
Irish DC Marcus Freeman Speaks With Reporters
New Notre Dame defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman spoke about a variety of topics on Tuesday, including the Irish cornerbacks, safeties, TaRiq Bracy, Bo Bauer, Drew White, Jack Kiser, Jordan Botelho and more.
"Jordan is one of the leaders of being disruptive. He's playing extremely fast. He plays with a violence that, at times, you have to say, slow down a little bit. I know Drew White would tell him to slow down after he rolled up on Drew earlier in the spring.
"That's the way Jordan plays the game. If we continue to get him lined up right, continue to get him to understand exactly what he has to do within each. defense, he's going to get better and better.
Uyeyama Breaks Down Spring Developments So Far
ISD expert Jamie Uyeyama examines Zeke Correll has apparently won the center job, Braden Lenzy stepping forward, Botelho’s maturity, the nickel corner spot and the quarterback race between Jack Coan and Drew Pyne.
“We knew Coan’s floor was high. He was going to come in and be competent at the very least when trying to win the starting job. We didn’t know as much about Pyne other than everything we heard about his work ethic and improvement as a freshman. He looks like he has taken another step and has made some throws that many might not have believed he could make.”

Shayne Simon Talks Scheme
Irish linebacker Shayne Simon talks about the new scheme under Marcus Freeman and what it means for him.
"The new scheme is open. It's not as gap-oriented, but there are still rules we have to follow. The main thing is to find the ball and go hunt and go make plays.
"I think there were opportunities for all of us to play fast last year as well, so I'm not going to say one is better or worse. I definitely feel like in this defense, I'll be able to play fast and use my abilities and take advantage of them to make plays. I'm confident in both systems and definitely the one we're playing in this year."

2023 Texas offensive lineman Harris Sewell plays at Permian High School, the same school immortalized in the book and movie ‘Friday Night Lights.’
