2021 NFL Draft | Saints Draft QB Ian Book

Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book has a new home as the New Orleans Saints drafted him with the 133rd overall pick. 

The California native left Notre Dame as the all-time winningest quarterback in school history and put up some big-time stats. 

Book threw for 8,948 yards, 72 touchdowns and just 20 interceptions while completing 63.8 percent of his passes. The 6-foot, 206-pounder also rushed for 1,518 yards and 17 touchdowns. 

As a recruit, Book originally committed to Mike Leach at Washington State before flipping his commitment to Notre Dame before his senior season. Book chose the Fighting Irish over offers from Boise State, Idaho, Nevada, San Jose State, UNLV and Washington State.
