2021 NFL Draft | OL Aaron Banks Drafted By San Francisco

Offensive lineman Aaron Banks is headed to San Francisco as the 49ers took the 6-foot-5, 325-pounder with the 48th pick overall. 

Banks grew up in El Cerrito, which is about an hour from San Francisco. 

The California native started 31 games during his career at Notre Dame, including allowing just two sacks on 1,691 snaps over his final two seasons. 

Banks also earned the second-highest passing blocking grade in 2020 on the Irish offensive line as PFF graded him out at 80.8. 

The former four-star prospect chose Notre Dame over Cal, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon and UCLA.
