2021 NFL Draft | Atlanta Falcons Draft DE Ade Ogundeji

Five years of hard work paid off for Notre Dame defensive end Ade Ogundeji as the Atlanta Falcons drafted him with the 182nd overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. 

The Michigan native played in 43 games for Notre Dame and made 13 starts over the last two seasons. 

Ogundeji recorded 71 tackles, 15.0 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, five forced fumbles and one fumble recovery during his time in South Bend. In 2020, Ogundeji was named team captain and All-ACC honorable mention as he registered 20 tackles and six sacks. 

The 6-foot-4, 268-pounder chose Notre Dame over Cal, Oregon, Rutgers and Toledo.
