2021 NFL Draft | DB Shaun Crawford Signs with Las Vegas
This moment has been a long time coming for Notre Dame defensive back Shaun Crawford as the Las Vegas Raiders signed the Ohio native as an undrafted free agent on Saturday night.
Crawford's road to the NFL has been a long one as he tore his ACL his freshman year (2015) before suffering a torn Achilles as a sophomore. Crawford returned to the field in 2017 and registered 32 tackles, 1.5 sacks, seven passes defended, five pass breakups, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
In 2018, Crawford tore his ACL in fall camp and missed the entire season.
Crawford rebounded to play in 23 games over his final two season, including 20 starts.
In 37 games, Crawford finished with 123 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, five interceptions, 12 passes defended and three fumble recoveries.
As a recruit, Crawford was a four-star prospect and committed to Michigan before flipping his commitment to Notre Dame.
