Alex Birchmeier‍ made independent unofficial visits to Penn State and Virginia for self-guided tours during the dead period, but the elite 2023 Virginia offensive lineman is excited for the lifting of the dead period next month and already has a few trips locked in, including one to South Bend.

Birchmeier will be at Notre Dame for an unofficial visit on June 12th.
