Recently, the 2023 Virginia athlete heard from Notre Dame and on Monday, Barnwell landed an offer from the Irish.

The one-time Penn State commit is being recruited by many schools as a tight end, but Irish defensive line coach Mike Elston was the one who extended the offer and Barnwell confirmed that he is being recruited by Notre Dame as a defensive end.
