2023 ATH Ta'Mere Robinson Impressed by Notre Dame
2023 Brashear (Pa.) athlete Ta’Mere Robinson made his way to South Bend on Thursday to get his first look at Notre Dame and it didn’t disappoint.
The four-star prospect was impressed with everything he experienced and saw during the trip.
"I loved it,” Robinson told ISD. “They're big. I liked it up there. I loved the campus. The campus and the people around were nice - they were greeting me and they wanted me to come there.”
The people around campus always have a positive impact, but the Irish coaching staff also left quite the impression, including head coach Brian Kelly.
"The coaches were great,” stated Robinson. “The energy from the coaches was big. It was great meeting Coach Kelly."
The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder also got a chance to meet with defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman, who explained to Robinson why he liked his game so much.
"Coach Freeman said he likes me because of my length,” explained Robinson. “I'm very active and I can hit too. He really likes that."
Robinson also got a feel for Notre Dame’s rich academics and saw the impact a degree from the University can have after he’s done playing.
"The academics were great, especially with everyone getting an academic profile,” Robinson said. “The education at Notre Dame is great."
June has been a busy month for Robinson as he’s also been to Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Pitt.
The Pittsburgh native isn't done as he could make return to trips to a few programs in the next month, including Notre Dame.
"I will definitely be back,” said Robinson. “I'll be back in July. I might be going back to Penn State and Michigan."
