2023 LB Asa Newsom Enjoys First Look At Notre Dame

Asa Newsom‍ hadn’t heard a ton from Notre Dame, but the 2023 Iowa linebacker didn’t need to hear much before scheduling a trip to South Bend for a visit this weekend.

“I got an email from the coach and they sent me some invites for some gameday visits,” the 6-foot-3, 212-pounder told Irish Sports Daily.

Newsom has early offers from Iowa, Kansas State, Nebraska and Missouri among others.

“It's certainly a blessing and super exciting,” he said.
