Judging by the reaction after last week’s game, many ISD subscribers seemed pretty skeptical that the defense actually made progress against Toledo.

It was right there, though. No one had to look hard to find that they did some really good things in that game and if they could continue to clean some things up, they’d be on their way to playing really good defense.

Purdue was a chance to get cleansed and Marcus Freeman and the staff took advantage.
