I think for a lot of great Notre Dame teams in history, there comes a point in a season where the tide turns.  In 2012, it was a struggling Irish offense battling a game Purdue team in Notre Dame Stadium.  Kicker Kyle Brindza came off the bench to kick two key field goals in ND’s 20-17 win over the Boilers.  Those field goals were the first of Brindza’s career.
