Tayvion Galloway‍ is getting busy this fall in terms of college visits and the 2024 Ohio tight end/defensive end made his way to Notre Dame for the Irish’s game against Cincinnati this past weekend.

“Everything went well,” the 6-foot-6, 215-pounder from Unioto High School told Irish Sports Daily afterward.

“When I first got there, we got to go into the indoor facility and we ate there for a minute. After I was done eating, I went to put some of the accessories on and stuff and I took some pictures. After that, we went on the sidelines. I was watching them warmup. After warmups, I was watching the game.”

The Chillicothe, Ohio native was impressed with the atmosphere and the game itself.

“The atmosphere was great,” he said. “There was just a lot of love. I had fans talking to me about the game.

“I thought they played good, but they were having trouble with turnovers.”

Galloway has early offers from Bowling Green, Marshall and Buffalo. The Irish asked him to return in the future.

“They invited me to go up there for spring practice and they wanted me to get up there to be there during a meeting to get to know them more and everything,” Galloway said.

He’ll continue his tour of colleges in the coming weeks.

“Next week, I've got Marshall and the week after that I've got Tennessee. After that, I've got Indiana and then I've got Kentucky and Michigan State and Michigan.”
