Hudauri Hines‍ had the chance to check out Notre Dame last month and the 2024 Indiana cornerback left impressed.

“It was real fun,” the Indianapolis native said. “I had a lot of fun.

““We toured the film room and all that stuff. We saw the trophies and stuff and then we toured the field and watched the game.”

Hines enjoyed watching the Irish’s 27-13 win over Purdue.

“They played real good,” he said. “I like the way their teammates pick each other.”

He also enjoyed the atmosphere inside Notre Dame Stadium.

“Loud,” he said. “I like their fans.”

The Franklin Central High School standout was also impressed with the facilities and campus.

“It looked new to me,” the 6-foot-2, 185-pounder said. “I loved it. I want to be there.

“I can't wait to go to college.”

Hines has an early offer from Ball State and would like to keep in touch with the Irish coaching staff.

“I'm hoping that I get the offer from them soon,” he said.

The Cardinals offer came a couple months back and with “a lot of emotions,” according to Hines.

He said college coaches like his size, length and coverage skills.
