2023 WR Nathan Stewart Impressed With Notre Dame Trip
Nathan Stewart didn’t get to participate in all of the pregame recruiting activities, but the 2023 Maryland wide receiver saw and did enough to leave Notre Dame impressed on Saturday evening after the Irish’s 44-34 win over North Carolina.
“We got there a little late,” the 6-foot-5, 190-pounder said. “But everything was so nice.
“I saw the helmets and they said there was gold inside the helmets. I didn't know that.”
The Saint Vincent Pallotti High School standout said the game was “just amazing.”
“It was a great atmosphere,” he continued. “It keep me intrigued through the whole game.”
He was also impressed with the Irish’s performance, especially on offense.
“Notre Dame played great,” said Stewart. “All four quarters, they played top-notch.
“The o-line, the running back, the throws, they were on point. It seems like something I'd want to be a part of in the future.”
Stewart, who currently has offers from Morgan State and Boston College, didn’t have the chance to speak with any coaches, but is hoping to connect in the future/
“I'd love to come back here again, just to talk to the coaches on a personal level and see what they're about,” he said.
In the meantime, he has a couple other stops on the docket.
“I'm going to be at Maryland soon and I'm going to be at Virginia Tech.”
