2023 Ohio OL Austin Siereveld Talks Notre Dame Offer, Visit

Austin Siereveld‍ made the trip out to South Bend for Notre Dame’s game against Navy on Saturday and the 2023 Ohio offensive lineman left with a scholarship offer from the Irish.

The Lakota East High School standout added Notre Dame to an offer list that already included schools like Ohio State, Michigan State, Cincinnati and Illinois.

“It was awesome for Coach (Jeff) Quinn to come up to me and my family and offer me,” the 6-foot-5, 315-pounder told Irish Sports Daily afterward.

“It was really special. “

Quinn told Siereveld that he checked all of the boxes they needed.

“They really like my film and once they saw my grades, they wanted to offer me,” Siereveld said of the Irish.

Siereveld’s initial impressions of the Notre Dame coaches were positive.

“I thought they were awesome high energy,” he said.

He also liked what he saw and experienced.

“Campus is beautiful and it’s really cool to see everything,” he said. “The crowd and fans were amazing. Did not expect that at all.”

Siereveld is planning to check out all of his options again before making a final decision.
