Rewatch Notes | Notre Dame Defense vs Virginia

Not knowing if Brennan Armstrong was going to be available or not forced Notre Dame to come up with multiple plans depending on what Virginia did on offense.

They would have had to have a plan for Armstrong, a plan for former Mississippi State quarterback Keytaon Thompson, and a plan for backup quarterback Jay Woolfolk.

Armstrong didn’t look anywhere close to playing and Thompson was utilized more in his traditional receiver role than as a Wildcat quarterback.
