Jayden Bradford‍ is already firmly on the radar of several Power Five programs and the 2024 South Carolina made the trip to South Bend this weekend to see Notre Dame’s home finale against Georgia Tech.

“It was awesome just going up there with my family,” Bradford told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “I've never been to South Bend or Indiana or anything like that. The campus is beautiful and we really enjoyed our time up there.

“We got there kind of late because our flight landed a little late. We saw the Golden Dome and we got to see the players walk out, the indoor facility and obviously, the Stadium. We really liked it. We were really impressed when we left.”

The Chapin High School standout already has offers from schools like South Carolina, Penn State, NC State, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt.

The 6-foot, 178-pounder was clearly impressed with the Irish’s 55-0 dismantling of Georgia Tech.

“I thought that Notre Dame played a perfect game on defense and offense,” he said. “Getting 55 points and giving up zero, that’s a testament to their football team and how hard they've been working this season.

“I really liked their offense. I really like Jack Coan, the quarterback. He played a great game and their running backs are also really good, so just getting those guys in space and letting their playmakers go to work. I really enjoyed watching them on offense.”

He came into the trip interested in Notre Dame.

“Obviously, Notre Dame is one of the best schools in the country,” he said. “They've consistently put it out on the field each year. Academically, they're up there with everybody in the country. I just really wanted to come up here and see what they had to offer.”

And he left even more.

“I really just want to build a relationship with the coaches and get to know them and let them get to know me, just talk to them and pick their brain on certain things.”

Bradford may be at the South Carolina-Clemson game next weekend, but isn’t totally sure yet.
