Dylan Senda‍ is interested in Notre Dame and the Irish are interested in him, which is why the 2023 Michigan offensive lineman was back in South Bend this past weekend for the Irish’s home finale against Georgia Tech.

“I had another great game day visit at ND,” Senda told Irish Sports Daily afterward.  “Had a full itinerary. Listened to a few speakers and what services they offer prospective players.

“Also listened to a players panel and the audience was able to ask questions…watched the band play and the players walk to the stadium. I was able to go on the field before the game for the teams’ warmup, then watched an awesome game.

“The game was awesome! Loved the atmosphere.”

The 6-foot-5, 276-pounder has a lengthy list of scholarship offers already.

At the start of the month, he released a Top 8 of Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Iowa, Miami, Northwestern, West Virginia and Cincinnati. That was based on the schools that have already offered.

The Irish haven’t offered just yet, although Senda said he had a “great” conversation with offensive line coach Jeff Quinn.

“Great coach and person,” Senda said of Quinn.

“He said ND is very interested in me as a player and to continue to be patient.”

It’s a potential opportunity that Senda is “really excited about.”

He said he will “continue the recruiting process and be positive about the process.”

Senda isn’t sure if he’ll take any trips next weekend.
