Recruitment Rundown
Morrison kept a low profile throughout the process and while it seemed the Irish were in a strong position throughout, nobody could really know for sure...at least not until he made his announcemet in June, choosing Notre Dame over offers from Alabama and Washington among others.

Brophy Prep HC Jason Jewell
“Ben obviously is an extremely talented player, that’s why he was so heavily recruited. He has a chance to play early. His skill set is tremendous, he has length, speed, ball skills but what I think what sets him apart is his willingness to get involved in the run game. He tackles very well and has no fear.

“Off the field, he is a stud young man with great character,” the coach says. “He is never going to be a kid that coaches have to worry about.”

ISD Expert Jamie Uyeyama
I believe Morrison has a chance to be a very good corner at the college level. He fits the mold of a two-way player and athlete that Notre Dame has targeted recently, but he’s also much more refined technically with his footwork than some others they’ve signed in recent classes.

He might not be the ideal size to play the boundary, but he plays big enough to succeed there while also having the tools to play the field corner spot. I think he has the kind of instincts and athleticism to be an option as a nickel as well. That versatility should help him compete early in his career.

Consistently finding the football is going to determine how good he can be, but he has the potential to be a complete corner and start for multiple seasons if his ball production ticks up.

“I just like the 40-year program they set forth with the 40 For 40,”
