Sedrick Irvin Jr.‍ did have some pause, but not for long.

Like just about everybody else, the 2023 Irish running back commit was caught off guard by the news that Brian Kelly was leaving Notre Dame for LSU.

“At first, when it was announced that Coach Kelly was gone, obviously, I was kind of scared,” the Florida native acknowledged.
