The first three drives Oklahoma State ran 10 plays for a grand total of 11 yards. It wasn’t all downhill from there, but it definitely didn’t get better than that for Notre Dame’s defense.

They couldn’t get off the field in the second half. Combining that with the offense and special teams providing no help when they needed it and that’s the recipe for OSU running 95 plays and averaging 6.4 yards per play.
