Scoring 35 points against Oklahoma State should have been good enough to win. It’s the most points the Cowboys gave up all year and Notre Dame did that while not having the short fields to work with that Baylor had in the Big 12 Championship.

It wasn’t enough in the end and the second half performance (seven points, two turnovers, four three-and-outs) will hang over this group for a while.
