Notre Dame DE Justin Ademilola Returning in 2022
Notre Dame officially landed another big piece to the 2022 roster on Wednesday as defensive end Justin Ademilola announced he’ll return for his fifth season with the Fighting Irish.
The 6-foot-2, 255-pounder flashed as a junior in 2020, but really came on in 2021 as Ademilola finished the year with 34 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
Ademilola’s return is important to Mike Elston's room as he's able to play both defensive end spot while also adding pass rush on third down or situational football.
“Justin has really come on and has been very reliable,” Elston said of Ademilola. “He can fill a lot of roles.”
During his four years at Notre Dame, Ademilola has tallied 69 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
Now, all eyes will focus on Ademilola’s twin brother Jayson, vyper Isaiah Foskey and center Jarrett Patterson.
