Video | DE Aiden Gobaira on Adjusting to Notre Dame, All-American Bowl & Al Washington
On Friday afternoon, Notre Dame early enrollee defensive end Aiden Gobaira spoke inside the Irish Athletic Center.
Gobaira had a big week at the All-American Bowl, but he appreciated the competition and the ability to test himself during the week against the best competition in the country.
The Virginia native also discussed the new experience of playing inside at the All-American Bowl as he had strictly been on the edge for his entire career.
Gobaira addressed how his added weight between his sophomore and junior year really changed his game.
New Notre Dame defensive line coach Al Washington has also made quite the impression on Gobaira in a few short days. Gobaira's roommate, Josh Burnham, also gave a ringing endorsement of Washington as he recruited the linebacker for Ohio State.
Gobaira also touched on the motivation from Isaiah Foskey and the Irish veterans during winter workouts.
