Notre Dame early enrollee Joey Tanona arrived on campus last month and spoke to the local media on Friday.
The Indiana native discussed his improvement over the last year as he led Zionsville to a deep playoff run in 2021.
Tanona gave feedback on new Notre Dame offensive line coach Harry Hiestand as he looks to get to know his position coach.
The 6-foot-5, 284-pounder also gave early feedback on Matt Balis's workouts. Tanona admitted they were hard, but knows Balis is pushing the team to the max.
Tanona discussed his goals for his freshman year and how the veterans in the offensive line room have taken him under their wing. He also explained what he brings to the offensive line unit.
