Notre Dame early enrollee Jayden Bellamy has arrived on campus and spoke with the media last week.

The New Jersey native will start his career at cornerback, but feels he could end up moving around in the secondary. Bellamy knows he has work to do in the weight room, but feels his physicality is an underrated part of his game.

Bellamy's father, Jay, recorded 24 interceptions over his 14 year NFL career, and while the league might be down the line, the former Bergen Catholic star wants to top it for bragging rights in the family.

Bellamy spoke on the challenges of enrolling early, which starts with Matt Balis. The veterans on the team have helped Bellamy adjust, including Houston Griffith, who has gone above and beyond to help him acclimate to college.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder also discussed being a film junkie and how he naturally gravitates to the defensive backs when watching football.
