PREVIEW

Notre Dame and Elon will face off for the third time and it will be the first meeting since 1963. The previous meeting was a doubleheader where Notre Dame won both games (7-0 and 9-2). Elon went 2-2 last week including a 10-2 loss to Wake Forest before taking two of three games against Toledo.

The Fighting Irish enter the game on a six-game winning streak, which includes three wins over Big Ten programs last weekend to win the Cambria College Classic in Minneapolis.

Notre Dame dominated on the mound giving up three runs total in three games. LHP John Michael Bertrand, RHP Ryan McLinskey and RHP Austin Temple were named to the Cambria College Classic All-Tournament Team along with centerfielder TJ Williams.
