2024 RB Jayden Scott Open To Return Visit To Notre Dame
Jayden Scott had the chance to check out Notre Dame last season and the 2024 Georgia running back left impressed.
“Very nice campus, very nice experience, I liked it a lot,” the Stockbridge High School standout told Irish Sports Daily.
Scott was in South Bend for the Irish’s win over Georgia Tech.
“I liked how the fans after every touchdown did push-ups,” the 5-foot-10, 200-pounder said. “I also liked when they got a big third-down stop, the music that plays. It was just a really nice fan experience.
“Campus is really nice. The sports facility is also really nice. Everything was great.”
Scott has a handful early offers.
“Currently, I have offers from Duke University, University of Pittsburgh, Arizona State University and University of Miami,” he said.
“It's nice. But I like to think, especially when I'm playing, that I don't have any. It just helps me grind harder.”
College coaches like the package he brings to the backfield.
“They like how I'm a downhill runner, but I'm also decently elusive,” he said. “They just like that I'm powerful.”
The Atlanta native said he would “definitely” like to return to Notre Dame.
“I'd like to dress in the uniform maybe,” he said. “I'd like to come to another game, maybe a big game or something like that.”
He’s planning to hit the road for visits in the coming months.
“Through the summer, I think I'll take a lot,” he said. “I'm not 100 percent sure which ones yet, but I'll definitely take some.”
He has an idea of what he’s looking for in a school.
“Just a college that fits my scheme, in a great area like geographically. Just somewhere I feel comfortable.”
