College spring break.

Most think of beaches and sun, but for Notre Dame offensive lineman Blake Fisher and running back Logan Diggs, it means education.

Diggs and Fisher didn't hit up a beach this week as both players are in Dallas for meetings with RISE Sports Advisors, headed by Michael Ledo.

Former Notre Dame stars Jaylon Smith, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and Drue Tranquill are clients of RISE as they look to elevate and prepare to be c away from the field.

"The best way to learn is from experience, so we intentionally create space for our clients to learn and grow as entrepreneurs and professionals," Ledo told ISD.

"We aren't focused on deals for our NIL guys. They will come, but we are focused on their education, infrastructure and network. They will hopefully enter the NFL like a three-year vet."

It's a mature outlook for two collegiate athletes as their peers focus on NIL, and the point of building for the future might have been driven home more than ever on Tuesday night.

Ledo surprised Diggs and Fisher with former Notre Dame greats in Tim Brown, Zack Martin and Jaylon Smith joining them for a meeting.

"The whole purpose of the trip is based on education," explained Ledo. "It's about creating an educational experience on business, but also preparing them for success on and off the field.

"Not only did we have Jaylon, Zack and Tim, but we also had Rob Wolfle, who is a Notre Dame grad and he runs Blue Star Real Estate for the Jones Family. It was basically a gathering of Notre Dame alums where Blake and Logan could get advice on business and football."

Diggs and Fisher were able to gain knowledge in all aspects of life from very different points of view, which will be priceless as they move forward in their football and business careers.

"Both of these guys have NFL potential, but you have to take care of what's in front of you," said Ledo. "In my opinion, a lot of guys hold off on that stuff until the last minute. To get advice from those guys about the collegiate level, how they transitioned to the NFL, the ups and downs - Jaylon has had recent downs.

"They're getting a wealth of knowledge from people who went through it all."
