2024 Woodward Academy (Ga..) linebacker Myles Graham‍ is a popular name on the recruiting trail and the four-star prospect picked up an offer from Notre Dame last Thursday.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pounder had patiently waited for it and was extremely grateful to learn the good news.

"It feels great,” Graham told ISD. “I was kind of expecting it because Coach (Brian) Mason told me to expect it on Pot of Gold day. It's a great feeling to finally have it."

Notre Dame offered over 70 2024 prospects on St. Patrick’s Day and Graham believes it’s a great idea as the recruiting world focuses on the Fighting Irish program for a day.

"I think it's a great tradition,” stated Graham. “It definitely builds excitement around the Note Dame and gives them momentum in the recruiting process. It's just a cool idea with the St. Patrick's Day holiday."

Mason also impressed Graham during a recent phone conversation. The Georgia native hears from several coaches, but Mason’s genuine personality shined as Graham felt it.

"When I got on the phone with him, he gave me a warm feeling,” explained Graham. “It feels like he needs and wants me as a player, but also as a man on campus. He loves everything I'm doing now, whether on or off the field with school and character.

"Not many coaches have pointed that out to me, so that makes it special."

Graham has been around football since he was born as his father, Earnest, is a former legend at Florida before playing eight years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"He knows the ins and outs of it,” said Graham. “He's been through it all. It definitely helps me and guides me in the right direction at all times."

As far as visits, Graham has recently been to Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Louisville. Ohio State will host him soon and the Woodward Academy star is paying close attention to the details when making visits.

"Academics are always first and foremost because that will take me farther in life. I also want a great coaching staff that cares about academics as much as the stuff on the field.

"I'm looking for a brotherhood, a family feeling and a school that needs me. I want to go to a school that wants to win and has a winning culture."
