Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden spoke following Thursday's practice. 

On what's impressed him through four practices:
"Intelligence for sure. Their work ethic has been great and they're really prepared. I think it's a tight group. It's a tight group that has good leadership and guys that are showing the young guys the way and trying to bring them along very quickly.
