The biggest development from a Notre Dame recruiting standpoint over the last week was probably last weekend’s visit by 2023 Texas wide receiver Braylon James‍.

Leading up to the trip, multiple sources told us this was a serious visit for James with people from both sides believing it could be the kind of visit that would allow the Irish to jump out to a substantial lead.

That certainly seems to be what happened.
