Notre Dame special teams coordinator Brian Mason spoke following Saturday’s practice to give an update on a healthy competition at kicker and an overall look at his units. 

On Joshia Bryan and Blake Grupe battling it out at kicker:
"I think we have a really healthy, great competition. Practice five today was the first day that we've done team field as an entire team.
