Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Hosting Two Football Camps in Ghana
Former Notre Dame and current Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah will host two football camps in Ghana this week. The camps will be aimed at young adults aged 16-23.
Emphasizing body, mind and spirit, the camps will use football to provide an example to help participants learn the importance of balancing the three principles.
Owusu-Koramoah’s camp will be based on teaching fundamentals and techniques of football, while also competing in safe drills. Both camps will allow qualifying participants to have the opportunity to attend the official NFL Africa camp in June.
“Some may view this as just a football camp,” said Owusu-Koramoah. “We see it as one of the first steps towards restoring communities and its people; to provide these young men a space where we will give knowledge, opportunities, and resources.”
The first camp will be in the Western Region, Takoradi, Ghana on March 30th, while the second camp will be held on April 1st and 2nd in the Greater Accra Region.
Owusu-Koramoah has launched his JOK Charitable Fund in conjunction with Sagamore Institute.
