Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman spoke following Saturday's practice. 

On WR Joe Wilkins Jr.:
"Joe Wilkins is out. He had had surgery yesterday. We expect him to be back for fall camp and ready to go. Surgery was great.”

On early enrollee offensive lineman Joey Tanona:
”Joey Tanona is out with a concussion. He's been out for a couple of weeks. It was a pretty bad one, so I think he's very slowly starting to get back into physical work.
