On the spring:
"Spring is going pretty well. I'm just focused on improving every day one percent. It's going pretty well for now. First day was an adjustment. Just getting back in the rhythm of things. I feel like I'm heading in the right path. I just want to stay consistent throughout the rest of spring."

On his focus heading into this spring:
"The first year was more of a learning year. Definitely just trying to get the ropes of college football. Heading into the spring, I just wanted to improve on the little things, the basics, the fundamentals, and just kind of get everything tied together and playing at a college speed."

On if there is pressure to develop given the depth chart:
"Not necessarily. I'm just kind of focused on myself right now and improving myself and doing what I can for the team no matter what that role may be, a starter or role player, whatever the case may be. I just want to do my best for the team and put myself in the best position."

On the adjustment to new receivers coach Chansi Stuckey:
"I feel like I adjusted pretty well. We clicked right off the bat, so I feel like I learned a lot last year with coach Del but some different things this year, we just worked on the fundamentals, releases, top of the route type of things and just an overall improvement in our game."

On all of the changes with the staff and new quarterbacks:
"Honestly, it hasn't really affected my preparation. Right now it's just more focused on me, trying to improve on me and it doesn't matter about the outside factors. As long as I'm doing what I'm supposed to do on and off the field to improve my game, that's really all that matters."

On Chansi Stuckey focusing on any particular areas with him
"Honestly, it's a little bit of everything. Playing faster, staying low, I'm a big receiver so staying low is a big thing, opening up my stride pattern, just little things which translated to the game and in practice."

On any personal goals this season:
"Right now, no. I'm just trying to do what I got to do to get on the field."

On how change impacts the development of the Notre Dame offense:
"It's a brotherhood here. We all do what we are supposed to do. We hold each other accountable to be at our best at all time. We have that connection here that we all know that we have to be the best for each other no matter the coaching situation, no matter what the situation is, just always bring the best and whatever comes, comes."
