2024 OL Ian Moore Enjoys Notre Dame Stop
Notre Dame hosted an in-state offensive lineman in the Class of 2024 on Thursday in Ian Moore.
The New Palestine standout just picked up offers from Missouri and Nebraska today to go with offers he already had from Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan State, Boston College, Minnesota, Tennessee, Louisville, Cincinnati, Toledo and Central Michigan.
“The trip was really good,” Moore told ISD afterward. “It was a really easy drive and overall just a great experience.
“I got to see practice and got a little tour of the facility. I really liked the energy of practice and the feel of it.”
It was a relatively short trip as Moore had to hustle back to school, so he didn’t get to have an in-depth conversation with Irish offensive line coach Harry Hiestand or assistant Brian Mason.
“From what I saw I really liked Coach Hiestand,” said Moore.
“I’ve been talking to Coach Mason since he was at Cincinnati and I really like him.”
Moore “really liked” the visit.
“Great campus, great tradition and culture, and just a really great team and coaching staff,” he said.
“I’ll definitely try to get back up there over the summer and probably for a game.”
This trip wrapped up the spring tour for Moore.
“Notre Dame was my last visit of the spring.”
