Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman spoke following the Blue-Gold Game. 

On the Blue-Gold Game:
“As I told the guys, I couldn’t be more proud of just the collective 15 practices. To end it like that, you couldn’t have scripted it a better way, to end it on the last play. This group has a lot of momentum right now. Continue to form our identity, but it’s really good to end it that way. No injuries for the most part. We stayed pretty healthy.
