Running Back C'Bo Flemister Has Entered the Transfer Portal

Notre Dame running back C’Bo Flemister has officially entered the Transfer Portal as a graduate transfer. 

The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder rushed for 471 yards and touchdowns during his four-year career at Notre Dame. Flemister played in just one game in 2021 and had three carries for 10 yards before a rib injury sidelined him for the year. 

2020 was Flemister’s most productive year at Notre Dame as he ran for 299 yards and five touchdowns as the Fighting Irish made the College Football Playoff. 

It’s a move that was coming as Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman announced Flemister was not part of the program earlier this spring. Despite not being on the team, Flemister remained on campus to finish his degree. 

Flemister’s senior season got off to a rocky start as he was charged with leaving the scene of a car accident last April. The Georgia native agreed to a pretrial diversion to have the charges dismissed where Flemister had to perform 25 hours of community service along with other tasks.
