WHAT TO WATCH 

- Georgia Southern cruised 8-0 on Saturday morning over UNC-Greensboro as Ty Fisher (6-2) earned the complete-game shutout. Fisher allowed just four hits and one walk on 110 pitches. 

- With Fisher going the full nine, Georgia Southern did not have to use its bullpen, so the Eagles will be fresh for the nightcap. 

- Jesse Sherrill (2B), Jason Swan (1B), Noah Ledford (DH), Sam Blancato (CF) and JP Tighe (C) recorded two hits on against UNCG. 

- Notre Dame will need to find its offense at some point and Saturday would be a good time to start. The Irish have scored three runs or less in three-straight games and haven’t hit double-digit runs since May 17th against Northwestern. 

- Georgia Southern split the season series with Georgia Tech and lost an extra innings game to Florida State. No. 1 Tennessee outscored the Eagles 33-3 in the first three games of season. The Eagles also split the season series with Georgia. Georgia Southern is battled tested, so it likely won’t be a situation where they feel too intimidated by playing a Power Five opponent.
